Pure driving joy
This is the Focus like you’ve never seen it before. The Focus ST has been precision engineered to be more powerful, more responsive and more fun to drive than ever. The 2.3-litre EcoBoost petrol engine is expected to produce an impressive 420 Nm of torque and 280 PS of power. And a new, fine-tuned suspension enables you to truly connect with the road, delivering greater control and exhilarating driving dynamics.

This isn’t just the most powerful and most responsive Focus ST. It’s the smartest too. As soon as you get behind the wheel and settle into the Ford Performance seats, you’ll be surrounded by a host of state-of-the-art technologies that help elevate every journey.
A standard additional feature, FordPass Connect modem* delivers real-time traffic updates††, vehicle health alerts, and even enables you to lock and unlock your car remotely. Whilst a 675-watt, 10-speaker, B&O sound system ensures every song you listen to sounds exactly like the artist intended.
Maximum control
For the first time, the Focus ST features an Electronic Limited Slip Differential (only available on petrol engine). This advanced technology has been engineered to maximize traction and deliver improved performance and stability. The system continuously analyses your speed, cornering, and the road conditions, then automatically sends torque where it’s needed. This ensures the wheel with the most traction receives the most power to give you control and power when you’re changing lanes, on demanding road surfaces, or accelerating through corners on the track.
Innovative anti-lag technology developed for the Ford GT supercar and F-150 Raptor pick-up is introduced to the Focus ST, for immediate power delivery in Sport and Track Drive Modes. Anti‑lag keeps the throttle open when the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal, alleviating the reversal of air flow from the turbocharger to maintain compressor wheel speed and enabling boost pressure to build faster on demand.

- Adaptive Cruise Control now enhanced with Stop & Go, Speed Sign Recognition and Lane-Centring for effortlessly negotiating stop-start traffic
- Ford’s Adaptive Front Lighting System with new camera-based predictive curve light and sign-based light that pre-adjust headlamp patterns for improved visibility by monitoring bends in the road and – for the first time in the industry – road signs

Focus EcoBoost Mild Hybrid
Focus Mild Hybrid delivers power and efficiency
The Focus is built to deliver a rewarding blend of precise handling and remarkable fuel economy. And now, to help reduce emissions whilst improving power and efficiency even further, it’s available with an advanced EcoBoost Hybrid powertrain. The Focus Mild Hybrid is part of Ford’s promise to deliver 14 electrified vehicles by the end of 2020.
The Focus Mild Hybrid engine uses a small electric motor with a 48-volt battery to improve efficiency. Instead of driving solely on electric power, the electric motor provides torque assistance to the petrol engine when needed. It also uses regenerative braking technology, which charges the mild hybrid's battery by capturing energy that's usually lost when you slow down. This helps increase your fuel economy and reduce emissions.
